Line edit. A sample of revisions to a high fantasy novel. When working with a new writer, I tend to leave lots of margin comments during our first collaboration. These comments explain my reasoning behind the suggested changes. However, as we continue to work together, these comments become less frequent once they know why!
Line edit. Here is an example of an ESL writer (English as a second language) and my revisions to the translated version. These edits do tend to take longer but are immensely satisfying!
Sample line edit. I always strive to maintain the author’s ‘voice’ and style. I edit in U.S., U.K., and Australian English, please specify which you prefer when booking.
Copy edit for a seasoned writer, with very little revision needed.
